All sales made through this website (the "website") by Machiavelli Limited are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Contract: The present Terms and Conditions are incorporated in all contracts of sale between you and Machiavelli Limited. Machiavelli Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under number 03196343, whose registered office is ("Machiavelli"). Machiavelli VAT registration number is 672640725.
Price: All prices and delivery costs displayed on the Website are quoted in pounds Sterling. We make every effort to ensure that the prices shown on our Website are accurate. However, in the unlikely event that a price on our Website is incorrect, we are not obliged to serve you at that price. Machiavelli shall notify you of the misprice and of the actual selling price prior to despatching your order. We will offer you the choice to confirm your order at the alternative price; you shall be entitled to cancel your order at this point.

Machiavelli reserves the right to change the prices at any time prior to accepting any order from you without prior notice. All prices quoted on our Website are inclusive of Value Added Tax ("VAT") where applicable, unless otherwise stated but do not include delivery charges that shall be charged at the rates applicable at the time of placing your order. The delivery charges are explained on our Delivery page.
Delivery: Delivery of the goods will be made within 5 working days following the order place on our website. The above applies to all products except the fresh pasta that is ordered from Italy especially for you. Delivery in this case will be 10 days.
Payment: Payment may be made in Pounds Sterling by MasterCard, Visa, Visa Delta, Switch or American Express. The holder of the credit or debit card which is used for the payment of goods purchased is fully liable for all sums charged. Completing the payment information and submitting the order implies authority to debit the relevant card. Machiavelli will take all reasonable care to keep your order and payment details secure, but PURCHASES FROM THIS WEBSITE ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Payment for the order using a credit or debit card is done using a secure (encrypted) link to the leading Internet credit card payment agency. We apologise that the architecture of the Website using frames causes a technical limitation and the little padlock on the bottom right hand corner of your screen will not appear, but the link to WorldPay is a secure one and you can use it in all confidence.
Title and Risk: Property and title in and to the goods ordered by you shall remain with Machiavelli until full payment in cleared funds for the price of the goods and all ancillary costs has been received and the goods have been despatched to you. The goods shall be at your risk as from the time when they have left our premises.
Availability: All goods featured on our Website are subject to availability and Machiavelli reserves the right to withdraw certain goods at any time without notice. If we are unable to fulfil an order (in whole or in part) we will advise you of this by e-mail or phone; you will then be given the opportunity to cancel your order. If we are unable to contact you, we reserve the right to despatch the available part of your order and to deliver the balance of said order at a later date (with no further delivery charges). Machiavelli reserves the right to discontinue supplies of goods featured on our Website at any time and excludes all liability in respect of any claim whatsoever arising therefrom.
Formation of Contract: An order submitted by you via our Website is deemed to be an offer to purchase goods from Machiavelli as seen on the Website. No contract shall be formed between Machiavelli and you unless and until we despatch the goods to you. We may, at any time prior to despatch of the goods, decline to accept your order for any reason. Once you have placed your order, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order. This e-mail is only intended to confirm receipt of your order and is not intended to constitute acceptance of your order by Machiavelli.
Force Majeure: Machiavelli shall not be liable for any delay or default in the execution of its obligations in the case of any event outside its control including but not limited to natural disasters, bad or inclement weather, fires, explosions, floods, failure or delay of third party suppliers, computer or software errors, national or local strikes or stoppages, accidents, riots or civil uprisings.
